Lifetime Warranty on Garage Floor Coatings
Every residential floor we install is backed by a true lifetime warranty. Here's exactly what that means.
What's Covered
Our lifetime warranty protects you against every common floor-coating failure mode. If any of these happen on a Sparks Coatings residential install, we fix it — no questions asked.
- Peeling or flaking of the topcoat
- Delamination from the concrete
- Hot tire pickup
- Yellowing or fading from UV exposure
- Material defects in the coating system
- Adhesion failure between coats
How Long It Lasts
For residential installations, the warranty lasts as long as you own the home — a true lifetime warranty, not a 1-year or 5-year guarantee dressed up in marketing.
Commercial installations are covered by a separate warranty (typically 5–10 years for our polyaspartic systems) that we tailor to the use case and traffic load of your space.
What Voids the Warranty
We want to be upfront — here's what is not covered, so there's no surprise if you ever need to file a claim:
- Cuts, gouges, or impact damage from sharp tools or heavy dropped objects
- Exposure to harsh solvents not intended for coated floors (paint stripper, brake cleaner, etc.)
- Structural concrete failure unrelated to the coating (e.g., a slab heaving from below)
- Repairs or modifications made by someone other than Sparks Coatings
- Damage from fire, flood, or other acts of nature

Warranty FAQs
What does the Sparks Coatings lifetime warranty cover?
Our lifetime warranty covers peeling, delamination, hot tire pickup, and material defects on all residential floor coating installations. If your floor lifts off the concrete or the topcoat fails, we'll come back and fix it at no cost to you for as long as you own the home.
How long does the warranty last?
It is a true lifetime warranty for as long as you own the home where the coating was installed. The warranty is non-transferable when the home is sold, but new homeowners can purchase a transferable extension at a discounted rate.
What voids the Sparks Coatings warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage from cuts or gouges from sharp tools, exposure to harsh solvents not intended for coated floors (e.g., paint stripper, brake cleaner), structural concrete failure unrelated to the coating, or modifications/repairs done by someone other than Sparks Coatings.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Just call us at (385) 469-3410 or email Hunter@sparkscoatings.com with your address and a few photos of the issue. We typically schedule a site visit within 5 business days and complete most warranty repairs in a single visit.
Does the warranty cover commercial floors too?
Commercial installations are covered by a separate warranty whose length depends on the coating system installed and the use case. We'll explain exact warranty terms on your commercial quote — typically 5–10 years on commercial polyaspartic systems.
